Hadrian's Wall - Hadrian's wall, Britains most famous Roman monument is a key attraction to people visiting Northumberland. There are 14 major Roman sites, museums and forts and many milecastle and turrets. As well as the Roman attractions, the landscape is a World Heritage Site which is well worth an explore.
	The Award Winning Beamish Museum - Britains favourite open air museum vividly recreates life in North England in the early 1800s and 1900s, providing entertainment for visitors of all ages and interests.
Kielder Water - England's "Most tranquil spot" is located at Kielder water, and is an area of stunning beauty. It includes Europe's largest man made lake and largest forest.
As well as the above attractions there are many more places to visit and sights to see in Northumberland. Excellent days out can be found at Alnwick castle, Chillingham, Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh, Hexham, Wallington Hall. Visit Holy Island and take a boat to the Farne Islands, or simply travel the countryside visiting several National Trust Properties.
