Excellent days out can be found at Alnwick castle, Chillingham, Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh, Hexham, Wallington Hall. Visit Holy Island and take a boat to the Farne Islands, or simply travel the countryside visiting several National Trust Properties.
